and translational research projects. Disciplines include psychology, child psychiatry,
developmental pediatrics, nursing, human genetics, applied behavior analysis, special
education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, social work, counseling, neuroimaging,
social neuroscience, speech science, engineering, and psychopharmacology. Further we
recognize and value the diversity evident in the patients we serve, and we welcome
applications from candidates with diverse individual and cultural backgrounds. Marcus

of pediatric healthcare in the country, and functions academically as the Division of Autism
and Related Disorders of Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics.
Marcus Research Program Clinical Assessment Core:
The Marcus Autism Center is seeking to hire a license-eligible clinical or school
psychologist to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments within the Clinical
Assessment Core (CAC) of the Research Program. The CAC is directed by Dr. Celine Saulnier
and provides the clinical characterization data on infants through adults for over twodozen
active research protocols, two of which are NIH Autism Centers of Excellence grants.
The CAC currently consists of 9 doctoral-level psychologists, 3 licensed speech pathologists,
a family nurse practitioner, a phlebotomist, a care coordinator, a genetics counselor, and
over a dozen research staff. The psychologist would be working as part of a
multidisciplinary team and trained to research reliability on diagnostic measures including
the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale, Second Edition (including Toddler Module), the
Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised, and the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Second
Edition, Survey Interview. Developmental, cognitive, and language measures vary based on
age of participants and study design. Strong consideration will be given to applicants who
have experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for autism and related conditions, as
well as experience testing infants and toddlers. Experience working within a research
environment is preferred. There will be opportunities for supervision of pre- and
postdoctoral fellows and graduate students, as well as participation in research activities.
Clinicians will be hired through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with full benefits and
competitive salaries. Interested applicants should contact Dr. Saulnier at 1920 Briarcliff
Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329 or celine.saulnier@emory.edu.

Neurodevelopmental Center Diagnostic Evaluation Clinic. This clinic provides diagnostic
evaluations for children ages 0-20, who are clinically referred to assess for autism
spectrum disorder. The diagnostic team currently consists of 6 doctoral-level
psychologists, who work in conjunction with developmental pediatricians, psychiatrists,
pediatric nurse practitioners, and care coordinators within the Pediatric
Neurodevelopment Clinic at the Marcus Autism Center. The psychologist would be
conducting diagnostic evaluations using developmental, cognitive, and adaptive measures
as well as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, and would be providing supervision
and training to postdoctoral fellows, pre doctoral interns and practicum students. Strong
consideration will be given to applicants who have experience conducting diagnostic
evaluations for autism and related conditions, as well as experience testing toddlers and
preschool age children. Clinicians will be hired through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
