The Department of Psychology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applicants for a tenure-track, tripartite position at the Assistant Professor level. Appointment to begin August 16, 2015.
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses; mentor students in research, develop a research agenda that includes student participation; author publications in field of expertise; provide departmental, university, community and professional service.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in psychology (at time of appointment).
We have a particular need for candidates with strong backgrounds in statistics and/or research methods, cognitive psychology and behavioral health, and seek those with multi-cultural proficiency. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or interests in diverse populations, such as American Indian or Alaska Native Populations.
