The Developmental Medicine Center (DMC) and the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a full time psychologist to provide outpatient evaluation and treatment services in a multidisciplinary setting. The DMC is one of the largest clinical programs for the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders in the US, and is dedicated to promoting research, teaching, and service innovations designed to improve the lives of children, adolescents, and families. The DMC provides services for children from infancy through adolescence who present with complex neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, medical and genetic conditions, intellectual disabilities, and learning, attentional, behavioral and regulatory disorders. There are many opportunities to be involved in research and psychologists are actively involved in education of psychology post-doctoral fellows, developmental and behavioral pediatric fellows, and medical students.
Applicants must possess a Massachusetts health service provider license in psychology prior to assuming the position, and preferably have five or more years of experience. Academic appointments at Harvard Medical School at a level commensurate with clinical and research experience most likely at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Graduates of APA/CPA-accredited doctoral programs and internships are preferred.
