Clinical Psychologist Position at the University of Chicago
The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neuroscience is seeking a full-time, academically oriented Clinical Psychologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of child and adolescent psychopathology to support Psychotherapy Services provided by the Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their own area of clinical focus. Responsibilities will include the evaluation and treatment of childhood psychological and behavioral disorders, with a special emphasis on utilizing evidence-based practices. The candidate will participate in the teaching and research missions of the department. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited university-based doctoral program and have completed an internship at an APA-accredited site. Applicants must hold an Illinois license at time of hire. Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in Child or Pediatric Psychology, experience in teaching and supervision, as well as training and experience in evidence-based practices with a sub-specialization in PCIT is preferred.
