The Psychology Department at Ohio University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology (Child or Adult) at the assistant professor level. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to training needs in clinical assessment and one area of research conducted in the clinical section (clinical child, clinical health, clinical neuropsychology, eating disorders, emotion regulation, interpersonal process, school mental health, substance abuse, stress/trauma). Expertise in diversity as it pertains to any of these areas (e.g., sexuality/gender, age, disability, socioeconomic status, race/ethnicity, religiosity) is encouraged but not required. Responsibilities include maintaining an active, high-quality, fundable research program, directing graduate student research, teaching graduate-level assessment courses and undergraduate courses, supervising assessment practica, and participating in departmental service.
Candidates must be committed to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds, must have obtained a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, and must have completed an APA-accredited clinical internship by the start date of this position.
