The New York University Child Study Center announces an opening for a part-time (with benefits) Research Coordinator for a NIMH-funded study on the implementation of evidence-based practices in the juvenile justice system. The coordinator will be directly supervised by the project’s Principal Investigator (Dr. Christopher Branson). The primary duties will include: overseeing participant recruitment (youth & staff in juvenile justice agencies), conducting informed consent interviews and baseline/follow-up assessments, database management, data entry, coordination with participating agencies, assisting with IRB/NIH correspondence, and administrative/clerical duties (managing budget, ordering supplies). There is also an opportunity to co-author journal manuscripts and conference presentations. While the schedule is flexible, some evening hours are required as well as travel to juvenile justice agencies in Brooklyn and Queens.
The ideal applicant will have prior research experience, an exquisite attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
