POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY (DBT) AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, SEATTLE

Dr. Marsha Linehan at the Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics at the University of Washington invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship to begin summer or autumn 2014.  The fellow will be appointed as a Research Associate faculty member in the Department of Psychology at the UW and as a postdoctoral fellow at Cadence Child and Adolescent Therapy, a private organization comprising of psychologists whose mission is to use evidence-based treatments to provide the best possible care for children, adolescents and their families.

The fellow will receive experience and training in a range of activities which may include: conducting clinical trials, mentoring and supervising students, conducting Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), managing a research and treatment training clinic, teaching seminars, clinical supervision, grant writing and participation in the development of articles for publication.

Applicants must have: (a) a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology by the start date; (b) strong potential for a career in clinically relevant research; and (c) substantial experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy and familiarity with DBT.
