2 Faculty in Clinical Community Psychology at DePaul University

The Department of Psychology at DePaul University seeks to fill two full-time, tenured or tenure-track, faculty positions in the Community track of the Clinical Psychology Program. The positions begin September, 2014. One position will be at the Assistant Professor level and the other position will be open rank. DePaul University has a diverse student body and faculty. With sub-specialty areas in Child and Community Psychology, our Clinical Program is a recognized national model for diversity training. Members of under-represented groups (e.g., ethnic minorities, LGBT individuals, and people with disabilities) are encouraged to apply. Prerequisites include a strong research background and a well formulated research agenda. Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction also are essential. The following qualities are preferred: (1) clinical-community psychology research interests, (2) interests in cultural diversity, (3) work with marginalized and underserved populations, and (4) quantitative, qualitative, and/or methodological strengths. Experience with external research funding is desirable. The successful candidates will be expected to: (1) make distinctive additions to the scientific literature in Clinical-Community Psychology, (2) teach courses in the Psychology Department's undergraduate core curriculum and contribute to the University's Liberal Studies curriculum, and (3) contribute to graduate teaching, service, and thesis and dissertation supervision in core clinical and clinical-community areas.
