Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for Effective Child Therapy, Boston, MA

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Evidence-Based Youth Psychotherapy
Applicants are invited to apply for a clinical postdoctoral fellowship position at the Center for Effective Child Therapy, the outpatient mental health service program at Judge Baker Children’s Center.  Postdoctoral activities include direct outpatient service delivery to children ages 3 to 17 experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and disruptive behavior. Training and supervision in evidence-based models for psychotherapy is provided.  Additional activities include co-supervising graduate level trainees and assisting the director and assistant director in outreach activities to school districts and pediatricians. 
Qualifications
·         Completion of an APA- or CPA-approved internship.  Start date flexible (July – Sept. 2014).
·         Strong applicants will have:
§  Clinical training and experience in CBT for childhood depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and/or behavioral parent training for childhood disruptive behavior disorders
§  Experience in supervising or training clinicians in evidence-based methods preferred
§  Experience giving professional presentations
§  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
§  Strong computer skills
