The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry seeks an entry-level psychologist for a full-time position in the Child Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program, to begin in fall 2014/winter 2015 (specific start date contingent upon hospital credentialing and insurance empanelment). Our program serves children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 3-24 years) with a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental difficulties, with a focus on youth with anxiety and mood disorders. Although this is a clinical position, our program also offers opportunities for research and training/dissemination. The position includes a junior faculty appointment at HarvardMedical School.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program; must have completed a child-focused pre-doctoral internship; and should have expertise evaluating and treating children and adolescents with CBT. Applicants should be licensed (or license eligible) in Massachusetts.
