Job Announcement at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin

Clinical Child Psychologist. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Center has 2 full time openings beginning immediately. The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Center staff work with a range of presenting problems including adjustment to health conditions, general child and adolescent psychology/psychiatry, and child maltreatment. We are looking to fill the following positions:

Child psychologist: Provides direct service to children, adolescents, and families, with an emphasis on psychodiagnostic testing. We are looking for a child clinical psychologist with a strong interest and background in cognitive testing and other diagnostic testing techniques. Experience with neuropsychological measures is desired. The successful candidate will also have opportunities and responsibilities conducting ongoing psychotherapy services.

Pediatric Psychologist: Provides child health psychology services focusing on GI and feeding disorders. This position provides the opportunity to work in a thriving multidisciplinary feeding clinic with ongoing participation in both clinical and research arenas. Opportunities for inpatient consultation and liaison outside of feeding are also possible. Specialized training, including fellowship in pediatric psychology is desirable.
Although these are primarily clinical positions, opportunities for research and teaching exist. Positions require a Ph.D or PsyD in clinical child psychology (including an APA accredited internship) and a Wisconsin license (or eligibility). Specialized training in Child Clinical Psychology required.
