Postdoctoral Fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill

CLINICAL POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, UNC CHAPEL HILL (2014-2015)
We are seeking applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position in the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for 2014-2015. This position will be evenly split between clinical experience and research.  Specifically, the fellow will have the opportunity for direct clinical work, primarily assessment, as well as to assist with the supervision of graduate student trainees in both assessment and treatment activities.  In addition, the fellow will participate in NIH funded clinical trial examining the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of technology-enhanced behavioral parent training for low income youth with disruptive behavior disorders. Opportunities associated with this grant include clinically-relevant activities (e.g., conducting assessments, serving as a therapist), as well as manuscripts and conference presentations.  Supervisors/mentors for these two facets of the position have a long history of collaboration and will work together closely to make sure the clinical and research responsibilities for this position are well coordinated. In turn, this position is unique in that provides the opportunity to both continue to bolster the Fellow's program of research and to earn substantive clinical hours toward licensure. We are asking that anyone who is interested submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae,  3 letters of recommendation (email is sufficient), and 2 de-identified assessment reports (one child/teen and one young adult/college student) to Jennifer Youngstrom (jky@unc.edu), Erica Wise (ewise@email.unc.edu),and  Deborah Jones (djjones@email.unc.edu) by April 18
