Staff Psychologists, Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is inviting applicants for three staff psychologist positions in the Division of Behavioral Medicine & Clinical Psychology. CCHMC serves the medical and mental health needs of infants, children and adolescents with family-centered care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is a leading medical research and teaching hospital.  U.S. News & World Report ranked Cincinnati Children’s No. 3 in the nation in the magazine’s 2013-2014 list of the best children’s hospitals.  Cincinnati Children’s was also rated in the top 10 in all pediatric specialties.  CCHMC was ranked third in the nation in the 2013 Parents magazine survey of best children’s hospitals.  Among pediatric institutions, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Hospital is the third-highest ranking recipient of research grants from the National Institutes of Health.

The primary duties of the new staff psychologists will be clinical, but we welcome applicants who have secondary interests in clinical outcomes research or in participation in training programs. For all positions we are seeking behaviorally oriented psychologists who are interested in providing evidence-based care and using quality improvement methodology to track and report clinical outcomes. For one position, we are seeking candidates primarily interested in completing psychological evaluations with children and adolescents for the purposes of clarifying diagnoses and guiding treatment decisions. For two of the positions, we are seeking candidates primarily interested in outpatient treatment for a variety of mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, behavioral issues). Candidates who have completed a doctorate in clinical psychology and a one or two year postdoctoral fellowship are encouraged to apply.

Interested applicants can complete an application online at www.cincinnatichildrens.org.   If applying by e-mail, send vita and letter of interest to Jessica McClure, PsyD, Clinical Director, jessica.mcclure@cchmc.org.

CCHMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, or other protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
