Faculty Position in Clinical Science, Vanderbilt Univerity

The Clinical Psychological Science Program at Vanderbilt University in the Department of
Psychology and Human Development invites applications for a tenure track position as an
Assistant Professor in clinical psychological science, with an emphasis on children, adolescents,
and development. The Vanderbilt Clinical Science Program is internationally recognized for
research on the etiology, treatment, and prevention of psychopathology, developmental disorders,
and health problems in children and adolescents. We are interested in clinical researchers whose
work focuses on the interface of neurobiological processes (e.g., clinical neuroscience, genetics,
psychophysiology) with one or more of the following: affective, cognitive, or behavioral
dimensions that underlie new and emerging models of psychopathology (e.g., Research Domain
Criteria: RDoC), and has translational implications for interventions, developmental
psychopathology, developmental disorders, developmental clinical neuroscience, or pediatric
psychology. We seek an individual with a strong record of high quality and methodologically
rigorous research, sustained productivity, potential for obtaining extramural funding, and teaching
effectiveness. A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited clinical program and
completion of an APA-accredited internship are required.
