The Department of Psychology at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center is recruiting for a full time pediatric psychologist. Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center is a 190 bed not-for-profit children’s medical center and the pediatric teaching hospital affiliated with Saint Louis University. The Psychology Department at Cardinal Glennon is a collaborative department composed of nine psychologists and a neuropsychologist. This psychologist position provides pediatric psychology consultative care to medical services. The psychologist is an integral member of the GI medical team and provides care for their hospitalized patients. In addition, this psychologist functions as an member of the multidisciplinary Pediatric Feeding Team which is designed to provide outpatient evaluation and treatment services for children with feeding problems. The Feeding Team includes staff from the departments of Psychology, Clinical Nutrition, and Speech-Language Pathology. Therapeutic services are also provided for referred outpatients with medical and psychological disorders. Opportunities are available to participate in education, training, and the development of new programs for medical patients.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology from an APA accredited program and be license eligible in the state of Missouri. Pediatric psychology experience is preferred.
