Child/Adolescent Outpatient Psychologist Position at Denver Health Medical Center

POSITION SUMMARY:
This full-time psychologist will provide outpatient clinical services (individual and family therapy) to children/adolescents ages 2-18. Services provided will include intake evaluations, evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessment for the full range of psychiatric diagnoses. Key areas of competence would include cultural diversity, knowledge of family systems, working with underserved populations, and trauma-informed care. Many of the children served are diagnostically complex, high-risk, and have challenging psychosocial needs. The psychologist will participate in internship and practicum training, which may include teaching and supervision responsibilities. The child mental health team is multidisciplinary, including psychiatry and social work. Early career psychologist qualified for academic appointment with the University of Colorado School of Medicine at the instructor or assistant professor level preferred. Bilingual/bicultural applications strongly encouraged.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctoral degree in psychology.
Experience: One year post-graduate experience. Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Colorado.
