Announcement for Pediatric Primary Care Psychologist Position

The Nemours/ Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is accepting applications for a full-time Psychologist to join the team at ourNemours duPont Pediatrics primary care office in Milford, Delaware. 

Nemours is committed to providing access to high-quality, family-centered health care for children and adolescents, including integrated psychological and medical care. At the Nemours duPont Pediatrics primary care clinics, psychologists are an integral part of the medical home treatment team for a culturally and economically diverse patient population. Psychologists have been working in Nemours primary care clinics for over 10 years. 

The Division of Behavioral Health includes 21 psychologists, three psychiatrists, an APA-approved Psychology Internship program and an active Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program.  The Division of Behavioral Health is part of the Nemours Neuroscience Center, along with the closely aligned disciplines of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Developmental Pediatrics, and Rehabilitative Medicine. Nemours/ A.I. duPont Hospital for Children's state-of-the-art facility is located in a suburban setting a half-hour from Philadelphia. In addition to the main hospital campus, Nemours has a number of satellite offices, including 10 Nemours duPont Pediatrics primary care locations that serve a diverse population of patients and are the primary medical home for 25% of the children in Delaware.  Psychologists are part of the medical home at each site, and 10 psychologists provide services in the primary care setting.  The Milford primary care office is located 70 miles south of the main hospital campus and only a half hour from Delaware’s beautiful beaches. 
Opportunities to provide consultation and treatment in Spanish are available.
