Tenure-Track Position at Idaho State University

The Psychology Department at Idaho State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Psychology at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2015. Clinical: The clinical position requires a PhD from an APA accredited clinical psychology program.  Clinical and research expertise focusing on children/adolescents and/or areas complementary to existing faculty preferred. Candidates should also have interest in teaching ethics and/or assessment courses and be license eligible in Idaho. Experimental: Applicants with expertise in cognitivepsychology or sensation and perception preferred. Candidates should also have interest in teaching statistics and/or research methods. All applicants should have strong research scholarship, an intention to seek external funding, and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship of students. Idaho State University offers a BS in psychology, a PhD in general experimental psychology, and an APA accredited PhD in clinical psychology (scientist-practitioner model).  Pocatello is located in southeast Idaho and boasts many world-class recreational opportunities.  Review of applications begins November 17, 2014; open until filled. Candidates should submit a current curriculum vitae; a cover letter summarizing research and teaching interests, and, for clinical applicants, clinical expertise and supervision experience; transcript; and up to six representative publications via careers.isu.edu.
