Tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming

THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT invites
applicants for a tenure-track Clinical Psychology Assistant Professor position to
begin August 2015. Required: A PhD or ABD by August 31, 2015 from an APA or
CPA-accredited clinical psychology program. Completion of an APA or CPA accredited clinical internship. Evidence of research productivity and high quality
teaching.

Preferred: Interest and background to teach courses on the biological bases of
human behavior at undergraduate and graduate levels. Research area is open,
but preference will be given to psychologists whose research interests
complement departmental strengths, which include adult psychopathology,
developmental psychopathology, emotion regulation processes, and cognitive
assessment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others is preferred.
Position responsibilities include: graduate and undergraduate teaching (2:2 load),
academic advising, research supervision of graduate students, and the
development of a productive research program. Prior to attaining tenure and
upon completion of licensing requirements, candidates must obtain licensure as
a psychologist in Wyoming. We provide lab space, internal grant opportunities,

Laramie, a family-friendly small town situated in the high plains between the
Laramie Mountain Range and the Medicine Bow Mountain Range, has abundant
outdoor recreation and is an easy drive to Denver, Colorado.
