Assistant Professor of Psychology
Quantitative/Methodologist Position
Tenure-track position available Fall 2014 for Ph.D. in psychology (research area open) to teach graduate and undergraduate courses covering a broad range of contemporary data analytic techniques including (but not limited to) SEM, MLM/HLM, multivariate procedures, longitudinal analyses, dyadic analyses, and potentially psychometrics (e.g. item response theory).  The applicant must have: an empirical research program, experience facilitating undergraduate Honors theses, masters theses, and doctoral dissertations, success with external funding, and experience advising faculty and students on statistical procedures and research design. As part of this position, the new faculty member will be expected to consult with faculty and students on issues of research design and statistical analyses including the ability to create detailed consultation reports. The applicant must also be fluent in the use of SPSS, AMOS, Mplus, and R.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant and productive department that serves over 1000 undergraduate majors, as well as students in master's programs in Experimental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and students in an APA-accredited PhD program in Clinical Psychology.
