Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child Psychology
New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center
July 2015-June 2016

This one year, full time postdoctoral fellowship provides trainees with an intensive supervised clinical experience in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with a wide range of psychiatric disorders. The fellow's responsibilities include initial diagnostic intake evaluations, psychotherapy, as well as psychological testing.  Psychotherapy training experience is acquired through general and elective rotations.  Supervision in evidence- based psychotherapies include: Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescent Depression, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Parent-Management Training.
            
General Rotations:  
1.  Evaluation Service
2.  Child Anxiety/ Depression Clinic
                     or
      Disruptive Behavior Disorder Clinic
3. Psychological Assessment

Elective Rotations:
1.  School Based Mental Health
2.  Pediatric Consultation- Liaison
3.  Special Needs Clinic (HIV affected families and children)
4.  Tourettes, Tics and Related Disorders Clinic
5.  Consultation and Emergency Services (Emergency Department)

The Fellowship runs from July 1 to July 1. Only 1 position is available per year.
