POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN PEDIATRIC ASSESSMENT

Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School announces the availability of 3-4 postdoctoral fellowships with a focus on pediatric assessment at the Learning & Emotional Assessment Program (LEAP) in the Department of Psychiatry at MGH. The LEAP program provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments for children ages two to twenty-two who present with a wide range of complex learning, developmental, social-emotional, and behavioral concerns, including learning disabilities, ADHD, autism-spectrum disorders, medical and genetic conditions, and psychiatric disorders.  There are also opportunities to engage in consultative services to schools, parents, and referring physicians and to be involved in clinical research at LEAP.  Successful applicants will have a doctorate in psychology from an APA-accredited program, an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship, and strong assessment experience. The fellowship is a one year, full-time training experience, with an option to extend to a second year depending on funding and complementary fellow/program interests. The fellowship begins on September 1, 2015. Fellows hold clinical appointments in the MGH Department of Psychiatry and academic appointments in the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry.  Salary rates for fellows are $45,000.  Additionally, fellows are provided with a standard employee benefits package that includes four weeks of paid vacation and medical and dental plan options.  The application deadline is January, 12 2015.  Send curriculum vitae, a letter of interest, three letters of reference, two sample reports, and a copy of graduate school transcript to: Darlene Maggio, Learning and Emotional Assessment Program (LEAP), 151 Merrimac St., 5^th Floor, Boston, MA  02114.
