Child Psychologist Position at Stanford University

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Faculty Member in the Clinician Educator Line, at the rank of Clinical Instructor, to conduct clinical care and teaching in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  The position will be based at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The chosen candidate will serve as an Attending Psychologist and provide clinical care in the Anxiety and OCD/TICS Specialty Clinics. Responsibilities include conducting outpatient evaluations and treatment (individual, family, and group psychotherapy) as well as providing supervision and didactics to psychology graduate students, post docs, and psychiatry fellows. Clinical research opportunities are also available. Applicants should have experience in evaluating and treating both children and adolescents with a broad spectrum of Anxiety Disorders.  Expertise in Exposure and Response Prevention (Ex/RP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and other Evidenced Based approaches for treating OCD spectrum disorders in individual and group format is preferred.  The position may additionally offer the right candidate program development and leadership opportunities.  Qualifications include a PhD or PsyD from an APA approved clinical psychology program, completion of an APA approved internship, and a minimum of 1 year additional training in child psychology.  Preference is for applicants who have completed the EPPP and are currently licensed.
