Project Director/Coordinator, Brown Medical School. Longitudinal
studies: Smoking during pregnancy and fetal/infant development
Centers
for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine, Brown University and The Miriam
Hospital, is seeking a project director to manage longitudinal studies
investigating maternal smoking during pregnancy and fetal/infant neurobehavior
and stress response.
The
project director/coordinator will work closely with PI, Dr. Laura Stroud, and
other members of the leadership team. Primary responsibilities involve managing
all aspects of daily operations for the studies, including administrative tasks
and staff supervision as well as oversight of grant and IRB submissions. Strong
organizational, supervisory and interpersonal skills preferred. Experience with
supervision, project coordination, administrative tasks, and IRB/grant
submissions desirable. Position involves
working in a fast-paced environment within a multidisciplinary research team.
The
position will be offered contingent on the availability of funding.
