DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY

The Department of Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an academic teaching hospital and affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is seeking a cognitive-behavioral psychologist with an expertise in behavioral medicine to join our faculty. The department has numerous specialty programs, provides care to a diverse population with high medical co-morbidity, and is a major teaching site for the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program. We are seeking candidates with outstanding clinical skills in the area of behavioral medicine, and a strong background in cognitive behavioral theory, treatment, and clinical research. Responsibilities will include outpatient clinical care and consultation to primary care and specialty medical clinics, with opportunities for research. Applicants should be licensed in Massachusetts or license eligible with a graduate degree from an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology (behavioral medicine focus preferred) and must have completed an APA-accredited internship. Academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
