Clinical Health Psychologist Position (Obesity Specialist): Providence, RI
Lifespan Physicians Group/The Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a Clinical Health Psychologist to join the division of Behavioral Medicine Clinical Services. We are seeking a clinical health psychologist to provide outpatient psychotherapy services (group and individual) to adult patients presenting with obesity and overeating disorders (i.e., binge eating disorder, bulimia) within a multidisciplinary, comprehensive weight management program. The psychologist may also have the opportunity to supervise clinical psychology interns in the clinical psychology internship in behavioral medicine, which is affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University. A clinical faculty appointment may be available for a candidate that meets the criteria at the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program and internship
- License eligible in Rhode Island
- Demonstrated experience and interest in treatment of obesity and overeating disorders
