Postdoctoral Position in OCD Treatment and Research at New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Medical Center
The Center for OCD and Related Disorders at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, directed by Blair Simpson, MD, PhD, seeks to hire a postdoctoral Clinical Researcher for a 2 year position. Candidates should have either an MD or a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology. This position will involve assisting with all aspects of Dr. Simpson’s clinical research program focused on obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and will include a mixture of clinical and research work, consonant with the applicant’s experience and career trajectory.

Ideal applicants will have experience evaluating and treating OCD and related disorders, conducting clinical research, and strong analytic and writing skills. Interest in developing an independent research career under Dr. Simpson’s mentorship is a plus and applicants with specific interests in translational research are encouraged to apply.
