September is Suicide Prevention Month

Hi all,

Hope everyone has been having a good start to the school year.  As you may or may not know, September is Suicide Prevention Month.  Therefore, I want to pass along the SAFE-T, a 5 step Suicide Evaluation and Triage plan , that is an excellent reference for all clinicians to have.

Additionally, I wanted to share some Suicide Prevetion resources from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): http://www.samhsa.gov/prevention/suicide.aspx

If you have any additional resources that you would like to recommend, please feel free to share them with the us!

Finally,  in Honor of September 10 as WORLD Suicide Prevention Day and September as Suicide Prevention Month the Glendon Association and PsychAlive will be hosting two webinars.
