The Department of Psychiatry at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) (http://psychiatry.ucsd.edu) and Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) Mental Health are recruiting for an academic clinical psychologist. The appointee will serve as Director of the Family Mental Health Clinic at the VASDHS. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. from an APA-approved clinical psychology program, must have completed an APA-approved internship in clinical psychology, and be eligible for licensure in California. In addition, applicants should have established a track record of high quality, independent, programmatic research related to couples or family mental health, and be able to demonstrate a capacity to head a large clinical program and supervise trainees. Academic rank and salary will be dependent upon qualifications and based on published UC pay scales.
