Meet the Experts: An Interview with Daniel Hynan, Ph.D.
Tuesday January 28th from 3:00PM – 4:00 PM Eastern Time

Dr. Hynan will discuss the topic, "Conducting Parenting Evaluations."
Dr. Hynan has been in full-time private practice since he received his PhD in clinical psychology in 1982. In the last two decades, he has had a specialty in working with children and families of separation and divorce, including having been involved in hundreds of child custody and related evaluations. Since the 1990s, he has worked to improve practice in the field by having published numerous peer-reviewed articles on topics such as forensic child interviews, parent-child observations, parenting schedules for very young children, and most recently, psychological test data specific to child custody litigants. He is in the final stages of work on a book scheduled to be published in 2014, titled Child Custody Evaluation: New Theoretical Applications and Research.

Dr. Clark is author (with Aaron T. Beck) of The Worry and Anxiety Workbook: The Cognitive Behavioral Solution, published by Guilford Books.
 
Dr. Clark is Professor of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, where he also has had a private practice for 25 years. Dr. Clark is a widely recognized authority on cognitive behavior therapy for anxiety and depression and is the author of numerous books, including Overcoming Obsessive Thoughts. His research interests focus on cognitive aspects of anxiety, and depression; cognitive assessment strategies; cognitive & biological vulnerability factors in anxiety and depression; unwanted intrusive thoughts; and differential diagnosis of anxiety and depression. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association and Founding Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
