Here at Wediko Children's Services, we are recruiting graduate and undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and fields to be a part of a paid internship opportunity for summer 2014.
The Wediko Summer Program is a 6 ½ week residential summer program that serves approximately 170 children struggling with social emotional and behavioral difficulties. Each year, we hire a group of dedicated, ambitious, and talented individuals to make the program fun and meaningful for each child.
The Summer Program is a unique opportunity for students who are interested in psychology, social work, sociology, anthropology and other social science careers. We train staff extensively in behavior management, crisis intervention, group formation, and child developmental theory. Our internship provides students with 750 clinical supervised hours and the opportunity to work with experienced professionals in the mental health field.
