Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology - UAMS / Arkansas Children's Hospital

POSTDOCTORAL PEDIATRIC PSYCHOLOGY FELLOWSHIPS-DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS, UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS FOR MEDICAL SCIENCES/ARKANSAS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Applications are invited for four full-time 12-month postdoctoral fellowships beginning September 1, 2014. The positions offer a rich variety of outpatient and inpatient assessment, therapeutic, and consultative services. The positions provide experience working with children ages 0-21 in outpatient medical clinics involving high-risk newborns, chronic pain, sleep disorders, obesity, medical crisis and loss, GI/liver, Cystic Fibrosis, cardiology, obesity, neurological disorders, and additional optional rotations. There are three training sites: J.L. Dennis Developmental Center (DDC), Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), and the possibility of working in various Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) clinics as part of their training program. The DDC is an outpatient interdisciplinary evaluation and treatment center. ACH is one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the nation providing outstanding clinical facilities.
