Montefiore Medical Center is inviting applicants for multiple staff psychologist positions in the Montefiore Medical Group. The Montefiore Health System is an integrated care delivery network with six hospitals, an extended care facility, cutting-edge primary and specialty care provided at more than 150 locations across the region, and a school of nursing. Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) provides exceptional primary and specialty care services at more than 20 locations to residents of the Bronx and Westchester County. We offer comprehensive medical care in a multitude of medical specialties for every stage of life, from children to seniors.

Since 2005, Montefiore has been committed to pediatric integrated behavioral health. This year, we are expanding our services throughout our entire outpatient ambulatory care network, which cares for >80,000 pediatric patients. We will provide Healthy Steps for all families with children birth-5, including universal ACES screening and assessment and intervention regarding early childhood social emotional development, parent-child attachment relationships, and developmental milestones. School-age and adolescent children will receive annual mental health screenings and follow up and intervention when needed, via co-located and integrated child psychologists and psychiatrists delivering evidence-based interventions. Tele-psychiatry systems will allow our services to reach all children within in our network, and providers will be available to work with parents and caregivers individually, when needed. By providing a universal behavioral health system within the non-stigmatized venue of primary care, we hope to effect real change for the children of the Bronx.

In addition to clinical assessment and intervention within primary care pediatrics alongside the medical care team, opportunities are available for teaching and supervision of general pediatric residents, medical fellows, psychology practicum students, psychology postdoctoral fellows, and child psychology interns. Non-tenured academic appointment may be offered through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Qualifications required to be considered for this position include the following:

• Doctoral level degree in psychology, including internship from an APA or CPA-accredited program. All requirements must be completed, including dissertation.
• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of New York
