Research Associate (PFRC Research Coordinator)

This position involves the role of a research coordinator in the USC Parenting & Family Research Center (PFRC) (http://www.pfrc.sc.edu/). This research associate works with the core faculty members and collaborators to increase the overall research funding and success of the PFRC. The position includes assisting with grant writing and project development, identifying new funding sources and opportunities, contributing to research activities which cut across grant projects, and supporting the day-to day functioning and operation of the PFRC. The PFRC, a growing research center at USC with more than $1.8 million per year in funded research involving 5 core faculty and over 30 staff and students, conducts research focused on understanding and improving the well-being of children in the context of family, school, and community systems. This position is established in support of expanded research activities or projects.
Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, public health, or a related field in the behavioral, health, or social sciences, and experience in human research.
Preferred qualifications: Doctorate degree in psychology, public health, or a related field in the behavioral, health, or social sciences; experience in grant writing and research.
Salary range $51,000 to $65,000, commensurate with qualifications
