Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology - UAMS / Arkansas Children's Hospital

POSTDOCTORAL PEDIATRIC PSYCHOLOGY FELLOWSHIPS - DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS, UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS FOR MEDICAL SCIENCES / ARKANSAS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Applications are invited for one additional full-time 12-month postdoctoral fellowship beginning September 1, 2014. The positions offer a rich variety of outpatient and inpatient assessment, therapeutic, and consultative services. The positions provide experience working with children ages 0-21 in outpatient medical clinics including high-risk newborns, chronic pain, sleep disorders, obesity, medical crisis and loss, GI/liver, Cystic Fibrosis, cardiology, obesity, neurological disorders, and additional optional rotations. There are three training sites: Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), J.L. Dennis Developmental Center (DDC), and the various Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities clinics as part of their training program. ACH is one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the nation and provides outstanding clinical facilities. The DDC is an outpatient interprofessional evaluation and treatment center.
