Keith Herman, Ph.D., co-author (with Wendy Reinke, Andy Frey & Stephanie Shepard) of Motivational Interviewing in the SchoolsStrategies for Engaging Parents, Teachers and Students.

Dr. Herman is Professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri and Co-Director of the Missouri Prevention Center, and has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles and chapters.

He serves on the editorial boards of School Psychology Quarterly and Journal of Counseling Psychology and is co-author of two professional books: Academic and Behavior Supports for At-Risk Students: Tier 2 Intervention (2012) andMotivational Interviewing for Effective Classroom Management: The Classroom Check-Up (2011).

He is a  member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
