Shriners Hospitals for Children - Chicago has an opening for a full-time pediatric clinical psychologist. Start date is negotiable, as early as July 7, 2014. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program, completed postdoctoral training, and have or be eligible for Illinois state licensure. Position comprises of clinical and research responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities (50% time) include outpatient and inpatient consultation and liaison services to children and adolescents with cleft lip and palate, spinal cord dysfunctions, and orthopedic conditions, collaboration with medical treatment teams, and supervision of externs and postdoctoral fellows. Research responsibilities (50% time) include data analyses and manuscript preparation on grant-funded studies in pediatric spinal cord dysfunctions and opportunities for pursuing independent research. Experience and/or training in consultation-liaison services, multidisciplinary collaboration, and advanced statistical techniques are required.
