Position: 
The College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a tenure-track, 10-month Assistant Professor position in Child Clinical Psychology, with a preference with expertise in developmental psychopathology, in the Psychology Department beginning August 2015.
Qualifications: 
Ph.D. in clinical psychology or related field. Strongly committed to excellence in teaching and developing an active program of research and must be license eligible in the State of Maryland.
Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate courses such as introduction to psychology, abnormal psychology and other courses related to youth development and psychopathology. Faculty are assigned a reduced instructional workload of six (6) course units per academic year for the first year. Beginning the second year the workload will revert back to the standard instructional workload of seven to eight (7-8) course units for subsequent years. Ability to teach statistics and research methods desirable. Teach courses in social, emotional, and behavioral assessment of children and advanced developmental psychology as part of a graduate specialization program in child clinical psychology. Develop an active program of research with school-aged children or adolescents. Candidates who research any aspect of developmental psychopathology or the social or emotional development of children are strongly encouraged to apply.
