Three Psychologist Positions Open at Children’s Na tional Health System in Washington, D.C.

Primary Care Staff Psychologists at Children’s National Health System. Openings for two experienced, licensed psychologists to join our primary care mental health team. The psychologists will provide mental health consultation within a primary care setting as part of multi-disciplinary team. Direct services will be provided to children, adolescents and families at community-based clinics in Washington, D.C.  Consultation for patients will include initial assessment, service referrals, and follow-up to help ensure linkage to mental health care. Consultation will also be provided to medical providers.  Some brief patient intervention work may be required.  Position is full-time. Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or Pediatric Psychology from an APA-accredited program, license eligible in Washington, D.C., experience working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, experience working in primary care setting and/or multi-disciplinary team, bilingual (English-Spanish). Assistant Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Health and Pediatrics at Children’s National Health System and the George Washington University School of Medicine.  Divisions of Psychology & Behavioral Health and Gastroenterology. Opening for a full-time position at the Assistant Professor rank to split time between the Anxiety Disorders Clinic and the Celiac Program through GI.   Responsibilities include providing clinical service and program development within each of 2 content areas- anxiety disorders and children with Celiac disease. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in clinical service and have experience in providing clinical training to graduate students, interns, or fellows.
