The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a mission-driven psychologist and experienced leader to lead the Clinic Team at its Neurobehavioral Center located in Skokie, IL. RNBC provides a unique, multi-disciplinary setting in which the Clinic Director will serve alongside other program area directors, including Research Director and Director of Education Services.
Our goal is to be a nationally recognized hub of clinical and educational innovations that help kids master social, emotional, and academic challenges. The Clinic Director will play a key role in achieving that vision by engaging and developing clinicians, providing exceptional patient care, effectively managing resources, and developing and implementing new clinical programs and services. The incumbent will represent RNBC to the community and be responsible for generating clinical referrals.
Strong applicants have well-developed pychoeducational assessment and therapy skills and a diverse therapeutic orientation. The strongest candidates will have a background and training in pediatric neuropsychology. A demonstrated capacity to develop and implement successful and innovative clinical services or programs is required. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical or school psychology from an APA-accredited program. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in a clinical setting including management and leadership experience. Candidates must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Illinois.
The position will consist primarily of clinical work and leadership responsibilities at RNBC, with teaching opportunities at Rush University Medical Center’s main campus in Chicago. IL. RNBC provides a unique, multi-disciplinary setting in which the candidate will serve alongside other clinicians, researchers, and an Educational Service Team.
Our goal is to be a nationally recognized hub of clinical and educational innovations that help kids master social, emotional, and academic challenges. The Clinical Psychologist will play a key role in achieving that vision by providing exceptional patient care, effectively managing resources, and assisting in the development and implementation of new clinical programs and services. The candidate will represent RNBC in the community and be responsible for generating clinical referrals with strong support from the Communications Team.
Strong applicants have well-developed psychoeducational assessment and therapy skills and a diverse therapeutic orientation. The strongest candidates will have a
background and training in pediatric neuropsychology. A capacity and desire to develop and implement successful and innovative clinical services or programs is a plus.
