Duties & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Research Assistant to coordinate and administer a study of suicide risk among patients presenting to a hospital emergency room (ER). Responsibilities include participant recruitment and screening in the ER, acquisition of iPad-based self-report and behavioral test data, and management of data and other study procedures. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a background in psychology, and experience in clinical research. Prior experience working with clinical subjects and strong interpersonal skills strongly preferred.

Basic Qualifications 
One year related experience required

Additional QualificationsA BA/BS in psychology and previous clinical psychological research experience is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills as well as an ability to work independently required. Computer skills (e.g., proficiency with SPSS, E-Prime) are highly desirable.

Additional Information 
This is a two-year, grant-funded term position, beginning o/a mid-September 2014. Renewal of this position is contingent upon continuation of funding.
