Psychologist and Postdoctoral Fellow Positions, Center for Refugee Trauma and Resilience, Boston Children’s Hospital

The Refugee Trauma and Resilience Center at Boston Children’s Hospital is currently seeking (2) Psychology Ph.D. researchers and one Postdoctoral Research Fellow. All candidates must work well in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, multi-cultural team environment. Staff positions: Strong grounding in trauma, violence/violent extremism and refugee mental health issues required, and experience with/knowledge of both Somali culture and the Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) treatment model preferred. Researchers will assist in grant writing, partnership development, data analysis/management, manuscript preparation, and developing and overseeing research projects and product development. A Ph.D. in clinical psychology is required. Harvard Medical School appointments at the appropriate faculty rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor will be provided.

Postdoctoral Fellow: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the area of cross-cultural research, trauma and violence, and/or violent extremism. Strong multivariate statistical analysis skills required.  This position offers mentorship and career development opportunities through an active, multidisciplinary research program.
