The Clinical Psychology Department
at Antioch University New England invites applications at the Assistant or
Associate Professor level to join the core faculty of our APA Accredited Doctor
of Psychology (PsyD) program. This is a full-time, 9-month position that
reports to the Chair of the Department.
About
the Position
The successful candidate will have
completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling
psychology and be licensed or license eligible in NH. Although area of clinical
expertise is open, we will give priority to qualified candidates with
experience and expertise in health psychology, integrated primary care, or with
a public or population health perspective, and particularly to those with the
passion and ability to formalize a program concentration in one of these areas.
This individual must have a commitment to experiential pedagogies and to social
justice. We particularly invite candidates who will enhance the racial, ethnic,
nationality, or cultural diversity of our program community.
Core faculty are expected to
demonstrate achievement in the areas of student engagement, scholarly activity,
and service, including administrative tasks within the department and
university. Specific administrative duties will be negotiated. We seek
candidates with the vision, perspective, temperament, interest, and potential
to become future program leaders. Opportunities for up to one day per week of
professional practice are available.

Accredited
by APA since 1986, the PsyD program follows the practitioner-scholar model of
training as described by the National Council of Schools and Programs of
Professional Psychology. Our students complete four years of full-time study,
practica, internship, and a dissertation. The Clinical Psychology department
includes three training and service centers: the Psychological Services Center,
Center for Research on Psychological Practice, and the Antioch Multicultural
Center for Research and Practice. Our graduates fulfill multiple professional
roles as reflective practitioners, integrating our core program values of
