Clinical Health Psychologist Position—Providence, RI
Lifespan Physicians Group/The Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a Clinical Health Psychologist to join the division of Behavioral Medicine Clinical Services.
We are seeking a clinical health psychologist to provide outpatient psychotherapy services to patients presenting with various chronic medical conditions (e.g., cardiovascular, chronic pain, obesity) or health problems (e.g., smoking cessation, treatment adherence issues) along with co-morbid psychiatric problems. The psychologist would also be responsible for supervising clinical psychology interns in the clinical psychology internship in behavioral medicine, which is affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University. A clinical faculty appointment would be available at the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program and internship
- License eligible in Rhode Island
- Demonstrated experience and interest in clinical health psychology
