The Division of Behavioral Health at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children is seeking candidates interested in a 12 month Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology/Behavioral Health beginning September 1, 2015.  The fellowship position focuses on consultation-liaison, therapy, and assessment services related to multiple medical specialties including Cardiology, Solid Organ Transplant, and Pain. The fellow will participate in multidisciplinary, integrated clinics, team meetings, and medical rounding. One day per week is dedicated to research and two days per month are dedicated to neuropsychological assessment.
Positions are open to graduates from APA approved doctoral programs that have completed their internship training.  In addition to clinical hours, fellows participate in didactic seminars spanning topics such as professional development, clinical supervision, research, and medical issues.  In addition, fellows have opportunities to attend hospital grand rounds and other hospital wide continuing education activities.  Training in supervision is part of the fellow’s experience and including didactics and opportunities to supervise psychology residents and/or externs. 
In addition to traditional clinical rotations and didactics opportunities, we provide education about “real world” issues pertaining to clinical practice, such as billing, medical coding, health care reform, and more.  In addition, the fellow receives support in preparing for the EPPP and licensure.  Some travel support is provided for conference attendance.  Research opportunities exist and are supported.
