Developmental position -- Catholic University of America

Visiting Assistant Professor, Developmental Psychology

The Catholic University of America, Department of Psychology invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology for the 2015-2016 academic year.  Applicants should be committed to excellence in research, teaching and mentorship.  Preference will be given to those who can contribute to our concentration in children, families, and cultures or who complement other existing strengths in the department, including health sciences and/or developmental neuroscience. 

The Psychology Department has BA, MA, and PhD programs.  Doctoral programs include Human Development, Applied Experimental Psychology, and an APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology.  Thirteen full-time faculty have active research programs in a range of areas that attract substantial external funding and involve national and international collaborations. Catholic University is located on a 250-acre, park-like campus in northeast Washington convenient to neighboring medical centers, universities and laboratories including the NIH.  Additional information may be found on our web site (http://psychology.cua.edu).
