Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity in Adolescent Mental Health- Miami FL (Florida International University)

The postdoc will work on an NIMH funded RCT that examines the effectiveness of a family-based intervention for adolescents with ADHD and related disorders as implemented by community mental health practitioners. In this role, training will be provided in conducting community based research, providing and supervising Motivational Interviewing and family based behavior therapy, and paper and grant writing. The postdoc will collaborate with study investigators (Drs. The postdoc will also be encouraged to contribute to data analysis and paper writing from this and other FIU projects in adolescent mental health.

Spanish language fluency, experience working in community mental health settings, and a strong research background would be valuable skills for applicants to this position.

Start date for the position can be between May 1 and July 1, 2015 and is negotiable. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D in psychology or a related field.

Interested individuals should send their C/V and a letter of interest to msibley@fiu.edu. Full benefits will be provided and salary is competitive. Thank you for your interest.
