Pediatric Behavioral Health Position

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division of the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry invites applications for  full-time Psychologist position as a Senior Instructor to begin July 1, 2015 or later.   We are recruiting for a candidate with outstanding clinical, supervision and program evaluation skills with a focus on integrated care within the pediatric setting.  

The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical care within outpatient pediatric settings, supervise pre-doctoral interns, post-doctoral fellows, masters’ prepared clinical staff, and participate in scholarship. 

Clinical care will be provided within the Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Behavioral Health Services. A large 12,000+ patient primary care practice focusing on the health needs of underserved populations in the Rochester community.
Teaching and clinical supervision of Psychology interns and fellows within our APA-accredited training programs, as well as formal and informal teaching of Psychiatry and Pediatric Residents and Masters’ prepared clinicians will also be supported.
Program design and evaluation efforts will be supported through the Lab for Innovation in Child Mental Health Care Delivery.   We are particularly interested in scholarly efforts related to integrated care.

Candidates must have a doctorate degree from an APA-accredited clinical graduate program and an APA-accredited internship.  License eligibility in New York State in Psychology is required.
