Research Assistant Positions -University of Massachusetts Medical School, Dept of Psychiatry

The Psychiatry Department Division of Addictions at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts is looking to fill 2 (FT and PT) Research Assistant positions.  We are looking for candidates who have research/ practice interests in psychology and/or public health, excellent writing and organizational skills, and can work well independently and within a team. RAs are involved in a variety of tasks including analyzing and presenting treatment outcome data, assisting with project management/grant writing/manuscript development tasks, working closely with sites implementing the MISSION model, etc. 

Most of the work will focus on the implementation and evaluation of M.I.S.S.I.O.N projects. Maintaining Independence and Sobriety through Systems Integration, Outreach, and Networking (MISSION) is a program developed specifically to meet the treatment needs of individuals with a co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorder. The program is currently being implemented and evaluated across settings and populations in Massachusetts (including mental health courts, veterans, homeless and incarcerated men and women, etc.).
