The Department of Psychology and the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies (DAAS) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invite applications for a joint faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). This is a tenure-track university year appointment. The expected start date is September 1, 2016. The specific area of research interest is open. Research themes of particular interest include the following: (a) ethnic and racial identity, (b) predictors and outcomes associated with racial stereotypes and discrimination, (c) the cultural bases of behavior and mental health, and (d) how biomedical, psychological, cultural, and other environmental factors interact to produce ethnic disparities in health. New laboratory space and generous start-up packages are available.
